Stroud and Smith-Njigba Being Selected on Opening Night Marks First Time Two...
The NFL has released its full seven-round draft order for the 2024 NFL Draft, which will be held in Detroit, Michigan. The Seattle Seahawks have been awarded seven picks in the upcoming draft, including the No. 5 overall selection. This marks the first time since 2010 that the Seahawks have held a top-five pick.
The Seahawks' other six picks in the 2024 NFL Draft are as follows:
- Round 2, Pick No. 37
- Round 3, Pick No. 69
- Round 4, Pick No. 101
- Round 5, Pick No. 133
- Round 6, Pick No. 165
- Round 7, Pick No. 201
The Seahawks are expected to use their No. 5 overall pick on Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Smith-Njigba is considered to be one of the best prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he would give the Seahawks a much-needed playmaker on offense.
The Seahawks also have a need for a quarterback, and they could use one of their other picks in the 2024 NFL Draft to select a signal-caller. C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Anthony Richardson are all considered to be potential first-round picks, and the Seahawks could trade up to select one of them.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held from April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan. The Seahawks will be looking to add some young talent to their roster, and they have the draft capital to do so.
